Project One

Our first assignment in Photojournalism seemed like it would be easy. I was easily fooled I guess. The assignment was to get a disposable camera and starting shooting, whatever we wanted.

I went downtown and jumped right in with my $7 dollar disposable camera and a notebook. I ran into a man downtown name William and he had recently moved here from Tuscan. He was an interesting guy, so I took some pictures, winding my camera after each shot. I was happy with my progress and I moved on with 18 shots left. I got through the rest of my film, happy with what I had done.

My film was developed and I was shocked by the outcome. Majority (18/24) of my pictures were too dark to even work with. Photoshop couldn't even help. Luckily, my first photo op of the day paid off and I ended up with a great picture in the end. But who woulda though.... take away all technology and this is what you get. I am now thankful for my film camera that does not require a wind between each picture.

Heres the chosen one...
