Honest emotion

Our assignment was to go out and take pictures of honest emotion. This could be any emotion, between any people. I walked around my apartment complex and heard three girls laughing and making jokes. I walked down to their porch and asked if I could join the conversation. I sat down and realized they were talking about high school and laughing about their past. The three girls have lived together for the last year while going to college. They have become best friends and it is obvious by their conversation. We sat on their small porch in freezing weather and laughed until our stomachs hurt, including mine. The woman in the main picture is, Lindsay Troeppl, 23-year-old Western student. The two women beside her were Monica Elder, 21-year-old Bellingham resident, and Alex Payne, 21-year-old Whatcom student.
